Role & responsibilities
Manage Packaging developmental activities for complex Injectable and ophthalmic
Identify vendors for primary and secondary packaging materials, packaging machinery, change parts for new products. Perform qualification testing associated with approving these vendors.
Prepare and review specifications, Testing Parameters, Bill of Materials, Packages configuration, MPRs, Technical Data, Gap Assessment and Risk Assessment.
Preparation of Artworks for Exhibit and commercials.
Develop alternate vendors, Package standardization, domestic / local vendor development and other special and critical packaging components.
Ensure compliance to cGLP/ cGMP, Organizations, Procedures and Practices.
Coordinate with CROs and In-House R&D for the packaging workings and technical information pertaining packaging and of relevant studies data.
Responsible for trouble shooting & packaging component related issues.
Finalize Packaging Trade Dress for different product dosages for exhibit and commercial batches.
Prepare and review necessary guidelines/ SOPs for Developmental/ Technology Transfer activities.
Coordinate with internal department like Purchase, R&D, Production, Quality Control, Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance, Project Management, Engineering etc., for seamless movement of activities related to packaging.
Coordinate with external customers, Service providers, vendors etc.
Support on packaging related projects for site implementation.
Support to address regulatory queries on packaging.
Perform internal Audit as per the schedule or based on the communication received from QA.
