• Position: Officer – Quality Control (QC)
• Location: Nalagarh Plant
• Department: Quality Control
  
• Reporting To: QC Executive / Assistant Manager / Manager QC

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for proper sampling handling retention of Packaging and Raw materials as per the   respective standard operation procedure. Affixing of status labels like SAMPLED LABEL / APPROVED LABEL / REJECTED LABEL.

To receive and analyse the samples of packaging and Raw materials as per the Standard Test Procedure and     record the observation in the test data sheet and in SAP keeping the view of cGMP and cGLP.

To update logbooks related to Sample Receiving, Sampling and Testing of Raw Materials and Packing Materials and related Control Samples.

To operate instruments like collapsibility tester, lacquer porosity tester, bar code reader, balance, screw gauze, Vernier Caliper, IR, KF Tiltrotor, Polarimetry, UV ,HPLC etc. as per the respective standard Operating Procedure.Conduct laboratory analysis with a high degree of accuracy using calibrated instruments, clean glassware, and by following all safety and quality procedures.

To maintain standards of packaging materials like shade card, approved artwork, album etc.

To ensure the working area / instrument cleanliness, and proper filling of documents and storage of the same at the respective place.

Ensure proper filing, retrieval, and archival of laboratory documents at designated locations.

Comply with all EHS, GMP, GLP, and company quality standards.

Required Qualifications

Education: M.Sc. (Chemistry) / B. Pharma / M. Pharma or equivalent qualification.

Experience: 1-3 years of experience in Quality Control Laboratory, preferably in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
