We’re Hiring! – Sensum Machine Operator / Executive

• Location: Gagillapur, Hyderabad
• Experience: 2–8 years (OSD Only)

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad for a Sensum Inspection Machine Operator/ Executive Role. The operator will be responsible for running and monitoring Sensum visual inspection systems used for automated tablet/capsule inspection. Key tasks include machine setup, parameter setting, routine operation, cleaning, and maintenance of the Sensum device. The role also involves performing quality checks, ensuring defect identification accuracy, documenting inspection results, and troubleshooting machine or process deviations. The operator will work closely with Production and QA to ensure consistent product quality and adherence to regulatory and GMP standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in operating and maintaining pharmaceutical inspection equipment, preferably Sensum visual inspection machines
• Knowledge of SOPs, cGMP, and quality compliance in OSD manufacturing
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify defects such as chips, spots, cracks, contamination, and colour variation
• Ability to set inspection parameters, perform calibrations, and conduct quality checks
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to handle equipment alarms or process deviations
• Teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with QA, Production, and Engineering teams
• Basic understanding of safety protocols and ability to follow CGMP, GMP, EHS guidelines

Role & responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor, troubleshoot Sensum inspection machine for tablet/capsule inspection section
• Set machine parameters, inspection criteria, and perform routine calibrations.
• Ensure accurate detection of defects such as chips, cracks, spots, contamination, colour variation, and shape defects.
• Perform batch start-up, inspection run, and batch clearance activities as per SOP/BMR.
• Carry out equipment cleaning (routine/manual) and ensure machine readiness for the next batch.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment issues, alarms, or inspection accuracy deviations.
• Record inspection results, maintain logbooks, and update all documentation as per cGMP.
• Coordinate with Production, QA, and Engineering teams for smooth batch execution and quality compliance.
• Follow safety and EHS guidelines during operation and cleaning activities.
• Support validation, qualification, and changeover activities whenever required

🎓 Qualifications:

Operator: Diploma / ITI / B.Sc

Executive: B. Pharm / M. Pharm / M.Sc

Experience with Sensum or similar inspection equipment preferred
