Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission (IPC) Recruitment for Junior Pharmacovigilance Associate

The Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission (IPC), Ghaziabad is an Autonomous Body under Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India primarily with the objectives of regularly updating the Indian Pharmacopoeia by publishing new edition and its addenda, National Formulary of India and other related tasks such as preparing, certification and distribution of reference substances & functions as National Coordination Centre (NCC) for Pharmacovigilance Programme of India (PvPI).

We are looking forward for the qualified personnel with age not exceeding 28 years for the one (01) post of Pharmacovigilance Associate for Department of Pharmacology, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Virbhadra Road, Rishikesh, Uttarakhand – 249201 (ADRs Monitoring Centres under PvPI) on Contract basis.

Name of the Post: Jr. Pharmacovigilance Associate

Essential Qualification: Master degree in Pharmacy, Clinical Pharmacology, Pharmacy Practice, and Clinical Research. OR Pharm. D/ MBBS/BDS from a recognized university/Institute.

Desirable Qualification: One year experience in drug safety/Pharmacovigilance

Age: Not exceeding 28 years

Salary – 26,250/- per month

Job Description:

1. Collection of ADR Reports.

2. Processing of Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs) and managing them in VigiFlow.

3. Quality review, Clinical Review & Statistical review of ICSRs in Drug Safety database.

4. Any other work assigned by Competent Authority from time to time.
