Job Description
- Facilitate in implementation of the companys Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental standards and monitoring the same.
- Liaison with the local and national regulatory authorities and agencies like APPCB, Factories Department on all EHS matters.
- Effective management of wastes i.e. Collection, treatment and Safe disposal of effluent and Hazardous wastes.
- Conducting EHS committee meetings and Follow up for compliance of the recommendations.
- Conducting Internal and External EHS audits and Inspections; follow up for compliance of the recommendations.
- Planning and conducting the EHS trainings, EHS awareness programmes and Safety promotional activities. To conduct mock drills, fire drills and ensure the effective emergency preparedness and response mechanism on-site.
- Review of Qualification documents, Deviations and Review & Approval of Change controls with respect to EHS.
- Responsible for handling of Quality management system documents by using e QAMS (Electronic quality assurance management system)/manually.
- Routine inspections of workplace to identify unsafe acts/conditions and inform the concerned for the immediate rectification of the same.
- To ensure safe working conditions and eco-friendly activities within the factory premises to attain the set goal of Zero accidents
- Accident, Incident & Near misses investigation. Recommendations and action plans.
- Review of all EHS related documents. Manage all EHS activities in the site.
- Responsible to prepare and submit the EHS Statutory requirements from time to time.
- Coordination with manufacturing department and Process Safety team for reviewing process safety testing reports to finalize the risk assessment activity.
- Preparation and communication of action plans for all risk assessment activities. Follow-up for compliance with concerned departments.
- Communication and coordination with suppliers, auditors, trainers, consultants etc.. Selection and procurement of PPE, and other consumables, accessories etc..
- Responsible as Dy.Management Representative for Environment Health Safety Management Systems. Participation in management review and implementation of decisions of MRM related to EHS.
- Ensuring the consultation and participation of workers, where applicable workers representatives in the implementation of EHSMS

Preferred candidate profile
Candidate should posses minimum of 13 years experience in Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental.
Qualification: B.Sc/M.Sc/B.Tech/M.Tech
Role: Assistant Manager/ Deputy Manager/ Manager
Location: Parawada and Atchutapuram
Preferably from Pharmaceutical Industry only
