ASSISTANT FOR HEALTH CLINICS/ AAM AADMI CLINICS BY THE
DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH & FAMILY WELFARE PUNJAB
The interested candidates who fulfil the eligibility conditions & other criteria (mentioned below) for the post of Medical Officer, Pharmacist and Clinic Assistant may apply online on Department’s website http://www.nhm.punjab.gov.in on the prescribed Performa for empanelment.

1. Educational qualification and other criterion for empanelment of HR:-

1/Medical Officer- (MBBS)
• MBBS from a recognized University or Institution recognized by the Medical Council of India.
• Candidates should have registered with Punjab Medical Council/ Medical Council of India.
• Candidates should have passed subject of Punjabi upto Matric standard.
Age* :- upto 64 years
2 Pharmacist • Diploma in Pharmacy from recognized institute
Qualification
• Should be registered as Pharmacist with the Punjab Pharmacy Council.
• Candidates should have passed subject of Punjabi upto Matric standard.
Desirable:
• Degree in Pharmacy from recognised institute /University
• Experience in dispensing and/or storage and dispensing of drugs in a reputed Govt. hospital or institution or in a Govt. Drug store
• Age* :- upto 37 years
Clinic Assistant
• Should have passed the Matriculation Examination / 10+2 examination with science or its equivalent from a recognized university or institution;
• Should possess diploma in Multi Purpose Health worker (Female) / ANM from a recognized university or institution;
• Should be registered as Multipurpose Health Worker (Female)/ ANM with the Punjab Nursing Registration Council
• Candidates should have passed subject of Punjabi upto Matric standard.
• Age* :- upto 37 years
Age Limit: As Mentioned above on 1st Sept 2023
• Since the Dept. has mandated compulsory usage of IT Tablet by the empanelled MO, Pharmacist and Clinic Assistant for various activities at an AAC, including Patient registration, prescription & drug dispensation, a selfdeclaration will be taken w.r.t. knowledge, usage & adoption of IT systems, from the HR to be empanelled. In case, a candidate refuses the self –declaration, the application will be summarily rejected.
• The Candidates must ensure to bring their original & one self-attested photocopy of documents as mentioned below along with printout of online application form at the time of interview:-
Medical Officer
o Date of Birth certificate
o MBBS degree
o Foreign Medical Graduate Examination pass
certificate in case of Foreign Medical Graduate.
o PG degree/DNB/ PG diploma certificate, as the case
may be
o Experience certificate
o Registration certificates with Punjab Medical
Council/Medical Council of India.
o Certificate in subject of Punjabi upto matric standard
or equivalent.
o Passport size signed photograph
Pharmacist
o Date of Birth certificate
o B. Pharmacy degree/ Diploma in Pharmacy
o PG degree/ PG diploma certificate, as the case may
be
o Experience certificate
o Registration certificates with Punjab Pharmacy
Council
o Certificate in subject of Punjabi upto matric standard
or equivalent.
o Passport size signed photograph
Clinic Assistant
o Date of Birth certificate
o Matriculation / 10+2 passing certificate
o Multi Purpose Health worker (Female) / ANM
diploma certificate
o Experience certificate
o Registration certificates with Punjab Nursing Council
o Certificate in subject of Punjabi upto matric standard
or equivalent.
o Passport size signed photograph
• The applications can be submitted through online mode only.
• Further, no notice for interview would be issued separately to the candidates.
• No other means/mode of application will be accepted by the Department.
• The candidate can be declared ineligible due to wrong entries of his/her
credentials in the form. It is advised that all entries are cross checked by
candidates themselves before finally submitting the form.
• Office will not be responsible for non receipt of online application of the
candidate due to any reason whatsoever.
• Application submitted through online form does not imply that candidate has
fulfilled the criteria given in the advertisement and application is subject to
subsequent scrutiny and can be rejected, if candidate does not fulfil the
eligibility criteria at any point of time of the empanelment process.
• The post may be increased or decreased at any stage. State Government
reserves the right to cancel the entire process at any stage without issuing any
notice.
