Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Block Head to lead end-to-end manufacturing operations for a multi-product block. The role involves overseeing production, compliance, team management, and ensuring operational excellence in line with global regulatory standards.

 Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage manufacturing operations for a block with multiple reactors/products
• Ensure adherence to cGMP, safety, and regulatory compliance (USFDA, etc.)
• Drive production planning, execution, and delivery as per business targets
• Handle audits (USFDA, regulatory, customer audits) and ensure audit readiness
• Optimize resources, improve productivity, and reduce operational costs
• Collaborate with QA, QC, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams
• Build and lead a high-performing team

 Key Requirements

Bachelor’s/Master’s in Chemical Engineering / Chemistry / related field

15+ years of experience in API / Pharma manufacturing

Hands-on experience in handling multi-product manufacturing blocks

Exposure to USFDA and global regulatory audits

Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills

 Preferred Profile

Experience managing large-scale blocks (multiple reactors, high capacity)

Proven track record in handling complex production environments

Prior experience in reputed CDMO / Pharma organizations
