F&D- R&D(Phytochemistry/Formulation)

Desired Qualification: MSc chemistry / Pharma

Experience: Having 2 to 3 years of experience homeopathy or Herbal Industries.

No of Workers Required: 02 (formulation lab)

Desired Skills: Class 10 minimum, should be able to read and write

Job Profile at R&D: (Phytochemistry/Pre-formulation/Formulations)

1. Pre-formulation and Formulation Development:

a. Development of formulation for various new products and improving the existing products.

b. Sound knowledge of product development

c. Good documentation.

d. Capable of takin care of Labs maintenance such a clean and tidiness and overall improvements.

e. Should be good in writing lab experiment records and all scientific details in appropriate manner.

f. Should have knowledge of extraction, formulation, testing and analysis

g. Should be well versed or eager to learn new techniques in extraction and spectral techniques.

1. Phytochemical Analysis

a. Exhaustive investigation of herbal raw materials used in-house.

b. Up-cycle experiment of existing herbal Raw materials used in Production plants.

c. Metabolite profiling of all the herbal RMs

d. Preparation of herbarium for all the herbs.

e. Phytochemical Standardization of the mother tinctures and herbal RMs as per the HPI/HPUS/GHPetc.

f. Phytochemical standardization and analysis of Dilution preparations.

g. Preparation of Lab reagents and chemicals.

h. Development and optimization of method of analysis.

i. Isolation and extraction and characterization of phytochemical markers from the mother tinctures

j. Identification of Phytochemical Markers

k. Stability study of all the mother tinctures, dilutions, tablets etc as per the standard guidelines.
