Designation: Deputy manager / Manager
Job Location: Dharwad, Karnataka.
Department: Downstream Processing Department
Educational Qualification: PHD/ M.Sc. / M. Tech in Biotechnology
Experience: 8-15 years from reputed organization
Key responsibilities:
Expertise in downstream processing of monoclonal antibodies, Fusion Proteins and Recombinant protein.
Should have hands on experience on development of novel proteins by using different types of chromatographic columns, Nanofiltration techniques, tangential flow filtration techniques and virus removal methods during the purification process.
Required experience of protein purification, principles, techniques, technology transfer to production, process validation activities.
Expert in operation and maintenance of AKTA Pure/ Pilot, Purifiers and PCC chromatographic system
Sound knowledge on troubleshooting of downstream process
Sound knowledge on Scale up and scale down models of Downstream processing
Documentation / Compilation of data for routine work as per regulatory norms
Coach and mentor to new starters to contribute to achieving a multi skilled and engaged DSP Team
Actively involved in tasks that involve other department in the company, in addition to other tasks assigned to him/her. Continually identify process improvement to help create and maintain a lean process.
