Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for verifying the calibration, operation and maintenance of instruments in the Microbiology Department.
- Responsible for verifying the Disposal of microbial media and culture activity as per procedure.
- Maintenance of glassware in microbiology department.
- Responsible for verifying & confirming the analysis of the Raw material, Finished Goods, validation samples and Stability samples received in the Microbiology Department.
- Monitoring Cleaning and disinfectant preparation activities
- Monitoring Temperature and Pressure Differential activities.
- Culture maintenance & preservation activities.
- Sampling & Microbiological Analysis of Raw & Purified water.
- Maintain media stock & Media preparation activities.
- Environment Monitoring Production premises ,Warehouse area & microbiology Laboratory
By Settle plate method, Air sampling method and Swab sampling method.
- Operation & Maintenance of autoclave, colony counter, Water bath & Antibiotic zone Reader
- Operation, maintenance & Cleaning of Refrigerator, BI Incubators & BOD Incubators.
- Disposal of microbial media and culture.
- Operation, maintenance & Calibration of Analytical Balance & pH meter.
- Monitoring operation & maintenance of LAF activities.
- Indenting of Microbiological media and miscellaneous items.
- Media preparation & Consumption record.
- Monitoring Growth promotion study of media.
- Allotment of AR numbers for microbiological sample.
- Monitoring Sampling & Microbiological Analysis of Raw/ Purified water & finished product.
- Monitoring Environment Monitoring activities of Production premises ,Warehouse area &
Microbiology Laboratory.
- Monitoring Sampling and Microbiological analysis of Drain Points in Production premises.
- Responsible for Checking, verifying and updating the documentation to meet the GMP requirements.
- Monitoring bioburden analysis of Primary Packing material.
- Monitoring analysis of Antibiotic assay.
- Handling of change controls & OOS activities information to HOD.
- Check & Review of SOP & Protocols regarding Microbiological activities.
- Responsible for verifying and updating Microbiological Validation Activities.
- Responsible for training activity and Validation of new Microbiologist.
- Responsible for Co-ordinate with Other Departments regarding Microbiological issues.
