RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. RLD/Innovator packaging material analysis and preparation of characterization reports.

2. Literature search & PIF evaluation for new products.

3. Sourcing of packaging materials and vendor finalization.

4. Performing MVTR, water loss studies and spectral transmission studies as per pharmacopeia requirement.

5. Proposing primary & secondary packaging material for new products.

6. Preparation of Trade dress, packaging development reports.

7. Coordinating for the change part development and arranging samples for machine trials.

8. Maintaining documentation & regarding design & development of packaging components, specification, Drawings, Data sheets, and BOM.

9. Ensure maintenance of correspondence and technical information pertaining to packaging activities comply with Standard Operating /Testing Procedures.

10. Primary packaging material vendor de-risking and identifying cost effective alternative sources and generating packaging material equivalency reports.

11. Preparation of bracketing sheets for container/closure systems and generation of protocol based packaging functionality studies, machine suitability studies and design qualification studies (wherever
applicable).

12. Providing inputs for creation of item codes, artworks for exhibit batches, submission batches.

13. Coordination with plant for smooth execution of Exhibit batches.

14. Preparation, review and approval of Packaging Development SOP.

15. Preparation, review and approval of Master Packaging Cards.

16. Coordination for Lab scale batch packing and performing leak tests for all new products required for developmental studies.
