Key Responsibilities
Production Operations
- Supervise and execute processes such as granulation, compression, coating, and capsule filling.
- Ensure adherence to Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Conduct and monitor in-process checks (IPC) to maintain product quality.
- Maintain accurate production documentation as per regulatory guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with cGMP, USFDA, MHRA, WHO-GMP standards.
- Support audits and inspections by regulatory authorities.
- Collaborate with QA, QC, Engineering, and Warehouse teams for smooth production flow.
- Report deviations, incidents, and corrective actions promptly.
- Ensure safe working practices in the production area.
- Optimize manpower and machine utilization to achieve production targets.
Qualifications
- ITI/BSc/MSc/Diploma/B. Pharm / M. Pharm (mandatory).
- Experience: Min 2 to 8 years in OSD manufacturing (tablets, capsules, granules).
- Knowledge of regulated pharma environments and exposure to international audits preferred.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of pharma manufacturing processes (granulation, compression, coating).
- Familiarity with GMP, GDP, and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to handle documentation, deviations, and CAPA.
- Team coordination skills.
- Problem-solving and decision-making ability under pressure.
