Mumbai, Nov 10 (IANS) Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday said that the government will work towards making Maharashtra a $1 trillion economy. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Sunday released its manifesto ‘Samkalp Patra’ in Mumbai ahead of the elections to 288 assembly seats in Maharashtra in 10 days. Speaking on the occasion, he said that the Mahayuti government has worked for the dignity of farmers, the poor and women. He said that his manifesto reflects the aspirations of the people of Maharashtra.
Maharashtra has been leading the country for many years. The Bhakti movement started from here and Shivaji Maharaj started the movement against slavery from here. Later, Shah criticized the Maha Vikas Aghadi. He suggested that Congress leaders should think before making promises. Because they will give solutions after making promises. He accused the Congress of failing to implement the promises made to the people of Telangana, Himachal Pradesh and Karnataka.
Union Minister Piyush Goyal, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and state BJP chief Chandrashekhar Bawankule were also present on the occasion
