Role Overview:
We are looking for a Synthetic Organic Chemist to join our Small Molecule Drug Discovery team. The role focuses on the synthesis and development of small molecules across drug discovery programs. Hands-on experience in peptide or macrocyclic peptide chemistry is required (Please note this is not dedicated peptide synthesis position)
Key Responsibilities :-
• Perform multi-step synthesis of small molecules for drug discovery programs..
• Develop and Optimize synthetic routes and reaction conditions for efficient synthesis.
• Purify and characterize compounds using HPLC, LC-MS, NMR, and chromatography.
• Apply peptide or macrocyclic peptide chemistry experience to support programs.
• Maintain clear experimental records and collaborate with the drug discovery team.
Preferred Candidate Profile :-
• Bachelors or Masters degree with specialization in Organic Chemistry preferred.
• 3 to 6 years of relevant industry experience in synthetic organic chemistry.
• Prior hands-on experience in peptide or macrocyclic peptide synthesis is required.
• Strong understanding of purification, characterization, and analytical techniques.
