Education Qualification: M.Sc. or M.Tech. in Biotechnology, Biochemical Engineering, or Biochemistry
Core Skills & Responsibilities Required
- Downstream Development: Optimize Protein A capture, viral inactivation, polishing (AEX/CEX), and UF/DF. Run resin screening, load optimization, and lifetime studies. Control CPPs to meet CQA targets.
Scale-Up & Validation: Design process characterization/robustness studies (DoE), write GMP scale-up protocols, and support Viral Clearance Studies (VCS).
Documentation: Maintain accurate lab records, follow ALCOA+ data integrity principles, and author SOPs/technical reports.
Technical Systems: Hands-on experience with ÄKTA systems (Avant, Pure, Pilot), Unicorn software, TFF/UFDF filtration, and analytical techniques like SEC, CEX, and quantitative Protein
