Role & responsibilities
- Execute primary & secondary packing activities as per Batch Packing Record (BPR).
- Operate and monitor packing lines for:
- Vial labeling
- Ampoule labeling
- Pre-filled syringe labeling
- Cartoning & leaflet insertion
- Ensure proper batch coding and overprinting.
- Perform packing material reconciliation at batch completion.
2 Line Clearance & Documentation
- Perform line clearance before batch start.
- Ensure correct artwork and packing materials are issued.
- Maintain accurate BPR documentation.
- Follow ALCOA+ principles for data integrity.
3 Cold Chain Handling (Vaccine Specific)
- Ensure correct packing for products requiring 28C storage.
- Coordinate with warehouse for cold room transfer.
- Ensure correct shipper labeling for export/dispatch.
- Support temperature logger placement (if applicable).
4 GMP & Compliance
- Follow WHO-GMP, USFDA, EU-GMP, and DCGI compliance requirements.
- Report deviations and assist in investigations.
- Participate in audits and inspections.
- Maintain cleanliness and prevent cross-contamination.
5 Quality & Reconciliation
- Ensure 100% reconciliation of labels, cartons, leaflets.
- Prevent mix-ups and labeling errors.
- Monitor rejection trends and inform seniors.
- Verify serialization & track-and-trace data (if applicable).
6 Coordination & Teamwork
- Coordinate with QA, Warehouse, Production, and Engineering.
- Support preventive maintenance activities.
