Team Member – Manufacturing ( Blister Packing Operator)
Job Summary
We are looking for an individual to oversee day-to-day blister packing operations, including guiding and coaching employees, ensuring equipment safety and maintenance, and executing batch manufacturing and packaging activities. Responsibilities also include documentation review, maintaining product quality, coordinating training, conducting initial incident investigations, and managing process orders
Packing Operations
- Operate blister packing machines as per approved SOPs and BMR/BPR.
- Perform line clearance before batch start and after batch completion.
- Set up, changeover, and monitor blister packing equipment to ensure smooth operation.
- Ensure correct loading of blister forming materials, foils, cartons, leaflets, and labels.
- Monitor critical process parameters and inspect output for defects such as:
- Improper sealing
- Missing tablets
- Poor print quality
- Damaged blisters
Quality & Compliance
- Follow cGMP, GDP, and EHS guidelines at all times.
- Ensure batch documentation is accurate, complete, and timely.
- Perform in‑process checks (IPQC) and report deviations immediately.
- Comply with data integrity principles during recording and reporting.
- Support QA during audits, inspections, and investigations.
Equipment & Maintenance
- Perform routine cleaning of blister machines as per cleaning SOPs.
- Carry out minor troubleshooting and report breakdowns to maintenance.
- Ensure machine cleanliness and upkeep during and after operations.
Safety & Housekeeping
- Adhere to all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and site safety norms.
- Maintain 5S and good housekeeping in the packing area.
- Follow waste segregation and disposal procedures.
Qualifications
Educational qualification
A Diploma/B.Sc.
Minimum work experience
2 to 5 years of experience
Skills & attributes Technical Skills
- Knowledge of Pas|X
- Knowledge & Experience in OSD- Blister Packing Line
- Knowledge & Experience in Tablet/Capsule manufacturing & Packing.
- Experienced in Tube filling, Jar filling, Bottle filling etc.
- Experienced in handling secondary packing activities like Carton packing, Case packing and Serialization.
- Good understanding of GMP and good laboratories practices.
- Experience in granulation, blending and tablet inspection.
