DEFENCE INSTITUTE OF BIODEFENCE TECHNOLOGIES (DIBT), Mysuru under the aegis of Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO), Ministry of Defence invites applications from eligible candidates for Graduate Apprenticeship Training for the Year 2026-27 as per the details given below.
Eligibility Criteria: 1. Candidates must have registered their names at http://nats.education.gov.in. Non-registered candidates are likely to be rejected.
2. The candidates who have passed their B.Sc./BE/ B. Tech degree in the year 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 & 2026 are eligible to apply. Candidates who have passed the qualifying examination earlier than 2022 are not eligible.
3. Those candidates who have completed the qualifying examination as regular candidates are only eligible to apply.
Terms and Conditions: 1. All correspondence including the offer letter (if selected) shall be done through E-mail only. For any query the candidate may contact telephonically at 0821-2579321.
2. The period of training will be 12 months commencing from execution of the Contract of Apprenticeship.
3. Selected candidates have to submit the “Police Verification Certificate” at the time of joining.
4. Verification of credentials shall be done for selected candidates prior to creation of contract. In case of any deviation or non-conformity with the desired qualification, candidature of the candidate shall be summarily rejected.
5. The Selected candidates must execute a Contract for a period of 12 months of training as per provisions of the Apprentices Act, 1961 and rules framed there under. 6.
7. Before applying, the candidate should ensure that he/she fulfills the eligibility criteria and other norms mentioned in the advertisement. It shall not be obligatory on the part of the Defence Institute of Biodefence Technologies, Mysuru, where training is imparted, to offer any employment to any apprentice after completion of period of his/her apprenticeship training. 8. Suppression of facts will lead to disqualification at any stage of the selection process.
9. DIBT reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of seats for apprenticeship training.
10. Any canvassing or personal follow up with an intention of influencing the process of selection of apprentice by and on behalf of any candidate shall lead to immediate cancellation of candidature.
11. DIBT reserves the right to withdraw / cancel the advertisement / selection process if circumstances so warrant without assigning any reason thereof. 12. In case of any dispute, the legal jurisdiction shall be that of the Hon’ble High Court of Delhi.
13. The apprentices will not be provided any Govt. quarters/hostel accommodation/transport by this establishment during the training period.
