Institute of Technology Management (ITM), Mussoorie is a premier training institute of DRDO, invites applications from young and meritorious Indian Nationals who desire to pursue defence related research as Junior Research Fellow (JRF). Selection will be made on the basis of Walk-in-interview to be held at ITM, Mussoorie. The details of fellowship position for which applications are invited are as under :-
Essential Qualification Post graduate degree in Science in first division with NET qualification or Graduate degree in engineering (B.E/B.Tech) in first division with valid GATE score or Post graduate degree engineering (M.E/M. Tech) in first division both at Graduate and Post graduate level.

Cut-offDate:: Age and Educational qualification will be considered as on the date of interview. Age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates and by 3 years for OBC candidates. For other category of candidates the age relaxation will be as per government policy.
Only those candidates who have been awarded degree/ provisional certificate are eligible to apply.
Tenure : Initially for 02 (two) years. Can be upgraded and extended maximum upto period of 05 years (including initial period of 02 years) subject to satisfactory performance to be assessed as per DRDO instructions.
Reporting Time : 0930 hrs on the date of interview, at Reception, Main Gate ITM, Mussoorie, Landour Cantt., Mussoorie (Uttarakhand)-248179
In case, large number of candidates appears for the walk-in-interview on the prescribed date, the interview may be carried over to the next day. The candidates are therefore requested to plan accordingly.
Application Form can be downloaded from the DRDO website http://www.drdo.gov.in. Duly filled Application Form is to be forwarded to director.itm@gov.in.
Application Form is required to be submitted in pdf format as per the given format.
While appearing for interview, the candidates are required to submit the hard copy of the duly filled Application Form with recent passport size photograph affixed on top right corner of the first page and one set of self attested copies of all degrees/ academic qualification certificates/ mark sheets/ experience certificates etc. The candidates are required to carry extra photo.
The candidates selected as JRF may be allowed to register for Ph.D during the tenure of fellowship.
The candidates will be essentially required to produce original certificates/ testimonials w.r.t. qualifications, experience, age and caste certificate for verification at the time of interview.
Candidates presently employed in Government Department/ PSU’s/Autonomous Bodies will be required to produce NOC from employer at the time of interview.
How to reach the venue of Interview :- ITM is located at about 4 Kms from main Mussoorie town in Landour Cantonment, (Uttarakhand). The nearest Railway Station is Dehradun. Nearest Bus Stop/ Public Transport is Picture Palace/ Masonic Lodge (approx 4 Kms away).
Please note that electronic items like smart phones/ mobile phones/ Pen drives/ laptop/ CD-ROM and any other type of electronic gadgets are not allowed to be carried inside ITM Campus.
Incomplete applications will be rejected during the screening.
Antecedents of selected candidates will be verified at the time of joining.Offer of award of Fellowship does not confer on the candidates any right for absorption in DRDO.
No TA/ DA will be paid for attending interview or for joining, if selected.
