Five leading pharma companies in the state have come forward to invest heavily in Hyderabad’s Green Pharma City. Dr Reddy’s, Aurobindo, Hetero, MSN and Laureus will invest in Green Pharma City.
In the first phase, each company has proposed to set up their industries on 50 acres of land. Representatives of pharma companies held a meeting with IT and Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu at the Secretariat in this regard. These companies are ready to invest heavily in pharma city. Minister Sridhar Babu expressed happiness over their decision. The minister said his government will create a conducive environment for setting up industries.
He promised to develop and make arrangements for the construction of industries on a war footing in a year’s time. The future city will be formed as per the thoughts of CM Revanth. Green Pharma City will also be a part of it, he said. At present, there are around 2 lakh employees working in these five pharma companies. Others will get employment and employment opportunities, he said. He said the work on drinking water and electric supply to green pharma city has already started.
Revanth’s government is also focusing on the development of roads in the state. Along with the construction of many new roads. Existing roads are being expanded. The Outer Ring Road is set to be set up around Warangal. As part of the Green Pharmacity, a world-class road with a width of 300 feet will be constructed from Kongara Kalan to the Regional Ring Road (RRR), minister Sridhar Babu said. A metro rail system will also be set up parallel to the road. He said the industrial power policy will be announced soon.
