Job Summary
We are looking for scientifically inclined, detail-oriented individuals to join us as a Scientific Data Analyst. The role involves analyzing scientific literature including journals, patents, and regulatory documents to extract key experimental data and manually curate it using a specialized application, contributing to a global scientific database accessible to the research community.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive analysis of scientific literature, including journals, patents, and product labels, to extract relevant biological data.
- Demonstrate excellent scientific comprehension and writing skills to interpret complex information accurately.
- Identify and interpret critical experimental components, including:
- Assay methodologies and experimental conditions
- Molecular and non-molecular targets
- Biological effects of tested ligands
- Experimental results and endpoint measurements
- Perform accurate, structured data curation using internal tools and project-specific guidelines.
- Exhibit strong learning agility with the ability to rapidly understand and apply complex scientific concepts, tools, and policies across new scenarios.
- Maintain high attention to detail, proactively identifying and resolving data inconsistencies.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and project turnaround timelines.
- Engage actively in virtual training sessions, team meetings, and regular communications.
- Work independently and collaboratively within a remote team environment, managing tasks effectively.

Candidate Requirements
Educational Background (preferred)
- B. Pharmacy or M. Pharmacy (Pharmacology, Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Biotechnology), with strong fundamentals in Chemistry.
- M.Sc. in Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or Pharmaceutical Sciences.
Additional Preferences
- Experience in scientific data curation, research data annotation, or pharmaceutical excerption.
Technical and Functional Skills
- Strong understanding of drug discovery, pre-clinical studies, or clinical trials, and regulatory frameworks.
- Ability to analyze and interpret scientific research data.
- Familiarity with data curation tools and experience working with diverse datasets.
- Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Self-driven, with the ability to meet deadlines while working remotely.
